AwayRate doesn't collect, store or share any personal data. There's no account, no analytics, no ads and no tracking.
On your iPhone
The app remembers your last currency pair, the last amount you typed, the currencies you've used recently, and the latest exchange rates, so it reopens where you left off and works offline. This stays on your device, is included in your device backups like other app data, and is removed when you delete the app.
Exchange rates
To get rates, the app sends a request to our server at api.awayrate.com, which runs on Cloudflare. The request contains nothing about you: no identifier, no location, and nothing you've typed. Like any internet request, it reaches Cloudflare from your IP address; we don't keep request logs. Our server gets the rates from CurrencyAPI, and your device never contacts them directly. Cloudflare's handling of network traffic is described in its privacy policy.
Permissions
The app asks for no permissions.
Children
Since no data is collected, none is collected from children.
Changes
Any changes will be posted on this page with a new date.
